An explanatory research design was adopted. Fourteen (14) deposit money banks were enlisted for study, drawn from Nigeria Stock Exchange as represented in Port Harcourt. However, our cross-sectional data were collected from 140 individuals, 10 purposively selected from each of the 14 banks.  The findings of the study showed that mobile application banking does not significantly relate to business performance. Based on the findings, it was concluded that mobile application banking has a dual impact on business performance. Based on this, we recommended that mobile application banking and other innovative approaches improving the mundane applications as well, ensuring efficiency in delivery and improved site traffic positively.
